"Shut Up and Mangia!"

I heard the bells on Christmas Day Their old, familiar carols play, And wild and sweet The words repeat Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Merry Christmas

Welcome to the thirtieth issue of "Shut Up and Mangia!" this issue will be brief and simple due to tech problems which caused me to fall behind schedule.

The menu I put together celebrates "The Feast of the Seven Fishes" which is a Christmas Eve celebration. The feast consists of seven fishes which symbolize a variety of different things depending on your families beliefs. Some say it symbolizes the seven sacraments other say it means the seven days God took to create mankind. Whatever your belief, seven seafood dishes are prepared in honor of the arrival of the baby Jesus.

My menu includes recipes for Frutti di Mare, Baccala, Tuna with Tuscan Beans, Snails in Marinara, Tuscan Salmon, Shrimp Scampi and Broiled Halibut.

Enjoy!

You can find the menu here.

Merry Christmas

To you and your family and friends. I hope this holiday brings you much joy and happiness that lasts the whole year through. Thank you for your support.
