Welcome to the Great Chicago Italian Recipes Forum. Here we can share recipes and exchange tips, techniques and stories related to something we all love, Italian food.
The Roman forum was the center where people met to do business, meet friends, shop and give informal speeches while standing on a platform called the Rostra. I believe today we call this a mall. But seriously folks, people began meeting in forums around 500 BC. By the time of Julius Caesar, forums were very crowded so others had to be built. That’s why I created this one. There are many Italian food forums on the net but I’m hoping this one will become one of your favorites. Everyone can cook the same recipe ten different ways based on techniques, ingredients and family traditions. Here’s the best place to share those recipes and ideas. Let’s talk about them, debate them, cook them and best of all, let’s eat them.
