3Z Chicken Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lg egg
  • 1/4 cup of French’s Yellow Mustard
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon of Mrs. Dash Italian seasoning
  • 1 quart olive oil
  • 2 lbs. Boneless chicken thighs or breast

    PREPARATION

  • 1. pour olive oil into 5 quart pot let stand on medium heat
  • 2. in a large bowl add Mrs. Dash Italian seasonings and French’s Yellow mustard set aside
  • 3. in large bowl beat one egg set aside
  • 4. cut lemon in half squeeze one half over individual chicken piece
  • 5. use a mallet to pound the chicken till it flattens (measuring to about 1/2” thick)
  • 6. cover both sides of chicken with mustard mixture
  • 7. dip chicken into the beaten egg
  • 8. lightly coat chicken with all purpose flour
  • 9. place chicken in hot cooking oil
  • 10. chicken is done when it floats 10-15 minutes
  • 11. drain oil off of fried chicken by putting on paper towels
  • 10. place hot fried chicken between two slices of bread and enjoy
