These great Italian Veal dishes will help you create that perfect Italian dinner you always dreamed about.

Most of these recipes are quick and easy. Some will take a little time and effort to prepare but are well worth the extra work. These traditional Italian Veal dishes will surely be enjoyed by the whole family.

Veal is one of the most tender, flavorful meats you could choose. It's versatility will help you prepare many Italian favorites like Veal Saltimbocca, Veal Marsala, and Veal Scallopini, just to name a few.

One of my all time favorite Italian Veal dishes is without a doubt a braised veal shank known as Osso Bucco. I make it at home and always order it in restaurants. I just can't get enough of this tender braised veal that falls off the bone and melts in your mouth.

I've never been disappointed by it's wonderful flavor.

So let's begin with...



Osso Bucco
Sweet tender meat that melts in your mouth served over a bed of risotto.

Veal Saltimbocca
The crisp salty prosciutto combined with the this tender meat echoes every sound of Rome.

Veal Marsala
This dish is made with a wonderful fortified wine that gives much added flavor to the veal.

Veal Scaloppini with Morel Mushrooms
Scaloppini with the best mushrooms in the world.

Broiled Veal Chops
Great Italian style veal chops.

Veal with Tomato, Basil and Onions
Easy to make tender veal.

Breaded Veal with Sautéed Onions, Prosciutto and Peppers
Tender veal topped with vegetables, prosciutto and melted provolone.

Veal Marengo
Tender cubes of veal braised in white wine and broth.

Veal Chops Pizzaiola
Tender chops topped with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and peppers and seasoned with oregano.

Veal with Basil Sauce
Tender veal with basil butter melted on top.

Veal Como
Delicious lightly breaded veal.

Veal Braciola
Veal rolled, stuffed and braised in a rich tomato sauce.

Veal Lamponi
Tender veal cutlets covered with a raspberry cream sauce.

Vitello Tonnato
Thin slices of roast veal topped with a chilled tuna sauce.
