Stracciatella

EGG DROPStracciatella is a traditional roman style soup. It's simplicity in preparation and flavor makes it a perfect beginning to any meal. In this recipe I added chicken. Traditionally it's just a broth with egg and Parmesan cheese. Besides the chicken I will sometimes add fresh baby spinach. The fun part of making this dish is swirling in the egg. Sracciatella takes around 15 minutes to prepare and is definitely a family favorite. Mangia Italiano!
